“McDonalds” and “HFT – Supporting people with Learning Disabilities”
The similarities between “McDonalds” and “HFT” are not too many but I think they are very positive to the community.
The similarity which I found is that both companies have charity sectors. McDonald’s charity is called “Ronald McDonald House Charities”. This is a non-profit corporation which creates, finds and supports programs that directly improve the health and well being of children. RMHC programs are grass-roots driven to enable the company to offer help when children need it most-right in their own communities. RMHC makes an immediate, positive impact on children’s lives through company’s global network of local Chapters in 52 countries and regions. The program also provides a “home away from home” for families of seriously ill children receiving treatment and nearby hospitals. The second core program, the “Ronald McDonald Family Room”, extends the comfort of a “Ronald McDonald House” into the hospital. It provides a place to recharge, enjoy a warm meal, talk with other parents and simply relax. Through relationships with local clinical service providers, “Ronald McDonald Care Mobile” program which is the third program bring cost-effective, high-quality medical, dental and health education services directly to underserved children in rural and urban areas across the globe. The charity company is also committed to education. Local RMHC Chapters in the United States, with support from RMHC Global, annually award thousands of scholarships — totaling more than $29 million to date — through the U.S. RMHC Scholarship Program to students entering college across the United States.
People can help to “Ronald McDonald House Charities” and ensure seriously ill or injured children and their families are getting the care and comfort they need when: •Make an individual or corporate donation
•Volunteer at a Ronald McDonald House or Ronald McDonald Family...
