Compare and Contrast on Laptops to Desktops
Desktops or Laptops When going shopping for a computer, one must evaluate their needs and will these needs be meet with a laptop or desktop computer. Laptops and desktops are both computers, but each provides different options. There are some similarities in both like internet functions, and accessible programs, but there are some differences like the accessories you receive, or accessibility. Laptops can be vastly adaptable and beneficial, as far as being portable and having all the components built into the computer like the mouse, speakers, monitor, modem, and the camera. On the other hand, with desktop computers all of the components must be plugged in and even some components must be bought separately. Another thing about laptop computers is that they can be wireless, to the extent that your able to use the internet and also not have all the cables connecting your accessories and making a mess. With desktop computers to use the internet you must have an Ethernet cable connected to it or a phone line.
Laptop computers are really useful for students because one can just pick the computer up go. Students don’t have to worry about finding a computer at school because it’s portable. Although laptops are portable, one still has to worry about it being lost or stolen. One must also have to concern there self about dropping their computer. Now with a desktop computer one is restricted to one spot till they are finished with their task. With desktop computers one has to worry about where to place the computer when it gets home. Then a computer desk is needed before the computer is brought home.
There are many likenesses when it comes to desktop and laptop computers. Things like being able to use the internet, or the types of programs, or operating systems, and the memory capacity of your computer. When using computers, all of them are internet compatible; all you have to do is have an internet provider. Both types can use the same programs as long as they have
