As common as films can be, there are several very distinct similarities and differences between The Rocky Horror Picture Show and The Little Shop of Horrors. For instance, they both have a character that’s a creature from a different planet and they are musicals. They both use dramatically induced scenes, which are vital to produce outrageous films like these. Similarly, each film is filled with comical scenes spice the films up. However, even though they both are very great films, The Rocky Horror Picture Show is more humorous and horrific, and The Little Shop of Horrors is more romantically comical. In The Rocky Horror picture show a conservative newlywed couple is struck with car trouble and must seek help from the strange castle. They enter into a party going atmosphere and meet there host for the night. Frank-n- Furter, a deranged mad scientist transvestite from another planet, was dressed in lingerie and unattractive makeup. He offers the young couple a place to stay and the innocent pair never saw what was coming. Whereas in The Little Shop of Horrors has a little more romance. The lonely nerd Seymour Krelborn works at the Skid Row flower shop of Mr. Mushnick. While experimenting in his spare time, Seymour finds an odd, unidentified plant species that he hopes will lead him to fame and riches. He names it after his crush, co-worker Audrey. But the plant doesn't use soil, water, and sunshine like other plants and it begins wilting until Seymour discovers that the mutated subsists on blood and human flesh. Before long, the luckless Seymour has fed his plant the bodies of a railroad detective, a sadistic dentist, and a flashy trollop. Audrey and Seymour reveal their love for each other, but their happiness is threatened when Mr. Mushnik accuses Seymour of murder. While there are some similarities and differences between the two films, both can be considered amazing.
