A Poem of Remembrance (Thinking of You)
We sit in our rooms thinking of you, thinking of all the things we use to do. We think of you night and day. Just wondering why you had to leave us. You will always look down and smile upon us. Even though you aren’t here to talk to us that doesn’t mean we have lost our faith. God knew that you were getting tired. So he said come, my child, and take your rest because you are one of my best.

My life’s been full, I savored much; Good friends, good times, a loved one’s touch. Perhaps my timed seemed all too brief. But don’t lengthen it now with undo grief. Lift up your hearts and peace to thee. God wanted me now – He set me free!

God must have known our hearts would need a special kind of cheer When he endowed mother’s face with smiles and her heart with love so dear. Of all the gift’s that God does send from his heavenly realm above, there is none that is more precious than that of our mother’s love. Your Children

Tasks left undone must stay that way I found the peace at the close of the day. If my...
