Prostitution Impact on Society

Prostitution is the act or practice of providing sexual services to another person in return for payment. The person who receives payment for sexual services is called a Prostitute. Or PROSTITUTION IS defined as the performance of sexual acts solely for the purpose of material gain. Persons prostitute themselves when they grant sexual favours to others in exchange for money, gifts or other payments and in so doing use their bodies as commodities (Microsoft® Encarta® Online Encyclopedia 2005use correc apa). So persons without this help will not have a formal living environment (food shelter and clothing). So to gain the money for this persons will turn to prostitution to help meet their needs; or/and to further their education. “over the past few weeks a number of schoolgirls from communities around St Catherine have been visiting the popular strip claiming they are hustling 'back-to-school' money.” (The Weekend Star, (2012), Jamaica. Poor Parental Control is a next cause for prostitution. No...
