UNIT 1: Developing Effective Communication in Health and Social Care

Assignment context:

Having studied and developed aspects of communication and communication skills, you now need to link these to your work experience placements. Use your experiences whilst on work placement to complete the tasks below. Remember to ensure that you respect confidentiality at all times.

This assignment covers all the learning outcomes for the unit.

To achieve this unit you must:

1. Understand effective communication and interpersonal interaction in health and social care 2. Understand factors that influence communication and interpersonal interactions in health and social care environments 3. Understand ways to overcome barriers in a health and social care environment 4. Be able to communicate and interact effectively in a health and social care environment

Please note: For all the Pass criteria questions aim to write approximately 300 words. For all Merit criteria questions aim to write approximately 500 words. For all Distinction criteria questions aim to write approximately 700 words.
