ABSTRACT
The Common Wealth Games is an organisation of independent sovereign countries which are spread from Eastern Africa to Southern Asia to the pacific shore to the Caribbean. More than 30% of world population from different languages, faiths, cultures and tradition makes to the Common Wealth Games. These games are controlled and directed by the Common Wealth Games Federation (CGF).It is an unique, world class, multi-sports event which is held once every four years. It is often referred to as the ‘Friendly Games’.
In this assignment, we will discuss two things. First we will see how the macro- environment has influenced commonwealth games in India. Secondly, we will see how the marketing mix used by the strategists marketing tool helps to improve commonwealth wealth events in future.
