The Donetsk region in the Southeastern part of Ukraine boasts some of the most industrial thriving scenery in the country. Our region is famous for its advanced industrial structure and magnificent scenery in some of the larger towns. Alternatively, if nightlife, shopping or different sport events are more your scene, all are readily available in some towns. Why not base a visit the main city in this thriving region in the Southeastern part of Ukraine? This is the ideal destination for tourists all over the world. The city of Donetsk is located in the steppe landscape of Ukraine, surrounded by scattered woodland, slag heaps, rivers, and lakes. People are often surprised to discover how just large the site is. Visitors can learn more of Ukrainian art by visiting the Opera and Ballet Theatre, the Ukrainian Music and Drama Theatre, the Regional Philharmonic, or go to the cinema. One of the main highlights of this wonderful place is the countless number of different cultural and memorable places like “Saur Grave” or monument dedicated to “Liberators of Donbass”. Visitors can walk where important historical figures once walked and contemplate the large array of different renowned places. Needless to say, that Donetsk is really accessible for those people arriving in the city by public transport. All of us know that the European football attracts a lot of attention. Donetsk, modestly says, is the capital of the Ukrainian football. In a month begins the most scale event in Ukrainian football - Euro 2012. This event attracts fans from around the world and, accordingly, it will occur in Donetsk. Thousands of tourists come to the tournament to cheer on their own or someone else's team. Donetsk is already fully prepared infrastructure for the tournament: 5-star hotels, sports facilities, entertainment complexes, new railway station and airport.
