Compare and contrast, as well as using definitions will be applicable to my paper. All three will play an important part in helping me get my point across as I try to persuasive the reader.
The topic that I have chosen for my essay is “Renting an apartment is a better option than buying a home”. I intend to persuasive the reader that buying a home is actually a better option than renting an apartment. Comparing and contrasting will play a vital part because in order to make your point for which is best between renting or buying, you must compare the two and decide which makes one better than the other and why. I must find the positives in buying and explain to my readers why they are important when deciding between the two. I will try not to be bias about my opinion although it will be hard not to when trying to persuasive a reader. I will find facts for both and simply build a stronger case for my opinion. One way to do this will be to focus on the many negatives of renting apartment and the many upsides of buying and owning a home.
When writing any kind of essay, it is extremely important that the reader understands the points you are trying to get across as well as the meaning of everything you are explaining to them. This is why a definition essay in so helpful and important. A definition essay is defined as an essay that defines a word, term, or concept by providing a personal commentary on what the specific subjects mean. One way to keep your readers interested is to make your writing is clear and always pay attention to detail. Writing an essay that is detailed oriented will show the reader that you did extensive research and know what you are talking about. Definition along with detail will help with my argument that buying a house is better than renting an apartment. I believe this the best way to persuasive the reader to share your view on a subject.
