Colour & Red perception.
Firstly, the A-Z Project has been a challenge that has helped me in gaining knowledge regarding different aspects of colour, emotion, Facebook and geometry. This project has provided me with a huge body of research, which has allowed me to identify the words in question. The analysis has helped me better my understanding of the true scope of these words. My main focus is on the word ‘colour’ because it opened a new world to me. How ever in history primitive men have always hunted for their food and lived in caverns in close contact with nature. They were conditioned by the changes determined by the sun and the moon. When the light rises at dawn they worked the earth, hunted and when night fell they slept. It is not confirmed that they could actually identify colours and based on studies from anthropologists the primitive man did not develop colour vision but will define it within evolution. Moreover, the prehistoric civilizations used colorants on rocks to record crucial moment in their lives and to highlight significant messages in order to communicate to others. Some individuals perceive colour in a different way than normal. This is usually caused by a genetic hereditary condition that the individuals are born with. For the colours red, green and blue, colour blindness is passed through the individual’s parents. The genetic factor that is responsible for this symptoms are carried from the X chromosome, which is why men suffer with colour blindness more than women. The people suffering see colour but read them in a different way. People can suffer different types of colour blindness. Humans can have different forms of colour blindness. Monochromatic is present to people that don’t have any cones in their eyes or just have one type of cone.
