College and Career Goals
College and Career Goals My education has always been my number one priority. Ever since I graduated from high
school, I have been trying to pursue my career goals. A friend of mine is a student at Columbia Southern University and she informed me of the flexibility of the courses. I took her reference into consideration and immediately completed the enrollment process. Online courses will definitely fit right into my busy schedule because I am a stay at home mom working to pursue my career in business. My goal is to get an Associates of Applied Science in Business degree here at Columbia Southern University. Once I complete the required courses, I will be prepared to receive an advanced degree. A benefit associated with this will provide me the proper knowledge of the business workforce.
The knowledge I am seeking from the business workforce will teach me how to identify my goals, show me how to navigate through every aspect of what needs to be accomplished, provide me with information on organization skills, and give me the additional training that can help improve skills. Furthermore, I would like to provide for my family, especially my daughters. I believe that completing this program will allow me to get a job in Human Resource Management to provide for them. My family has been such a huge support system for my determination to go back to school. I believe that I can be an example to my family by furthering my education and receiving my degree. Finally, I feel very strong about the business field and the challenges that college brings to the table. I am looking forward to learning what is required of the classes. I hope taking these courses will provide me the proper information needed to run my own business someday. I believe that I have finally been given the opportunity to pursue my college and career goals. As long as I stay motivated to continue with my college classes I will receive the degree I strive for.
