Coca-Cola is invented in 1886 , is a young company by the standard of coca-cola system. Yet each of its franchises has a strong heritage in the traditions of Coca-Cola that is the foundation for this Company The Coca-Cola Company is a beverage retailer, manufacturer and marketer of non- alcoholic beverage concentrates and syrups . The Coca-Cola company traces it’s starting to 1886 , when an Atlanta pharmacist, Dr. John Pemberton, began to produce Coca-Cola syrup for sale in fountain drinks . Pemberton is actually trying to concoct a headache remedy, but once he mixed his special syrup with carbonated water and a few customer tasted the results. Customer who all agreed after they are tasted the sampled of drink . So , Jacob’s Pharmacy put it on sale for five cents a glass .The name Coca-cola is coin by Pemberton’s bookkeeper , Frank Robinson ,who also wrote out the new name in the expressive script that has become Coca Cola’s signature logo. The company operates a franchised distribution system dating from 1889 where The Coca-Cola Company only produces syrup concentrate which is then sold to various bottlers throughout the world who hold an exclusive territory. When the business by 1893 , Asa G. Candler, a natural born salesman, transformed Coca-Cola from an invention into a business. He knew there were thirsty people out there, and Candler found brilliant and innovative ways to introduce them to this exciting new refreshment. He gave away coupons for complimentary first tastes of Coca-Cola, and outfitted distributing pharmacists with clocks, urns, calendars and apothecary scales bearing the Coca-Cola brand. People saw Coca-Cola everywhere, and the aggressive promotion worked.
