Introduction
Computers, software, and other technology can be used to describe information technology. Information technology has become an essential tool for businesses nationwide. Information technology allows organizations to perform effective planning and maintain enormous databases with the use of proper scheduling formats.
Club It is an example of a business that uses information technology as a source of survival. In this paper the subject to discuss is Club It, the owners, mission, clientele, and information systems presently used within the business.   As a newly hired intern, I have a duty to suggest strategies for improvements within the business with efforts to achieving long-lasting company success.
Club It
Ruben Keys and Lisa Tejada both graduated in 2005 with degrees in Business Administration and decided to follow their dream to open a nightclub, Club It. While attending college, Ruben and Lisa supported themselves by working as musicians and gained extensive information of nightclub operations from experience, in addition to business principles learned from their studies.
Club It is 6,000 square feet with a 600 square dance floor and seats more than 200 people comfortably.   Club It’s kitchen ensures its customers excellence in appetizers, short order, and bar accommodations affordable on most any budget.
Lisa and Ruben have just completed extensive remodeling of the interior of Club It and are pleased with the results. High ceilings and high energy lighting create an ambience of fun and energy that customers enjoy. For music, live bands are employed on Friday and Saturdays with a DJ Tuesday through Thursdays, and are closed on Sundays.
