The Club IT has been heading towards upgrading the information system and software application to offer resolutions on the current and potential problems that could affect the competitiveness of the business. The advantages currently offered by the innovations in information technology would definitely offer advantages upon the implementation of the planned changes on Club IT business processes. The information technology system and software upgrading would facilitate data processing and communication. The processes in business transactions would be expected to speed up with increased efficiency and facilitated connectivity with clients, suppliers, and business partners and tiers.
The business processes in Club IT involves connection to various suppliers of resources requiring physical or digital delivery. The human music players and digital music products had been playing important roles in delivering services critical in running the business. The club has been a downtown venue where clients seek entertainment with the beats of music played by live band performers or through MP3 playlists. Digital music products would be among the priority products resourced from digital supply chain. The drinks and refreshments would also be considered resources of great importance with major contribution in providing entertainment services linking the club to physical goods supply chain through connections with tiers and other companies. The physical goods would also include items for merchandise such as mugs, t-shirts, and collections of memorabilia which had been among the important resources that augments the revenue of the business (Rainer & Turban, 2008).
The occurring problems in the operation and management of Club IT include delays in completion of business transactions, inefficiency in establishing fast connectivity with other resources, and lagging application of technologies favorable to the clients.
