I have been hired as an intern for Club IT, and I am just absolutely ecstatic that they chose me because I have so many ideas that will definitely improve the business. After my visit to Club IT, I have learned a large amount of information about the business that I can work with. I know for sure that Club IT needs some kind of ERP and CRM because with out it the business will be hurting. Ruben and Lisa need me to make it easier for them by boosting their information technology, data management, and decision-making capabilities. I feel that the resources they have now can definitely be changed to better Club IT (Axia College Material , 2010).
From the information I have gathered Club IT hires bands to play at the night club on a regular basis, but I believe that without the proper IT system it can be quite a hassle for numerous people to get things in order. The night club also features dining and merchandise which means that ordering, selling, and money transactions will be taking place daily so the business must have a financial system set up so that everything can be taken care of efficiently and timely. One   IT system that this company requires is the Enterprise Resource Planning system (ERP). With this system internal and external resources can be handled and some of these include: financial resources, materials, and human resources. The ERP system can be used in Club IT to make sure that products and food get ordered, money is sent and received in the correct ways, and the employees are taken care of.
The Enterprise Resource Planning system that will be used   Club IT will consist of a financial department, human resource department, a decision-making support system, purchasing, and ordering. The financial department will enable cash managements, payable and receivable accounts, and fixed assets.
