By analysing various sources a judgement is clear that Martin Luther King Jr. actions were powerful and influential. King revolted against hatred, oppression and had the desire of true freedom for the African American society. Nixon, and Ralph Abernathy formed the Montgomery Improvement Association (MIA) to protest the arrest of National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP)official Rosa Park in December 5th 1955 for refusing to give up her bus seat to a white man, they selected King to head the new group.
