Living in the city has its pros and cons.

The majority of people want to live in the city because they think that it is the place where collected everything that can make their lives better than living in the countryside. And so, there are many people abandoned their homeland and families to live in the city with the hope of prosperity of living standard. In fact, living in Phnom Penh city has many advantages and disadvantages for their living conditions. As a result, it is the place of jobs opportunities, easy to run business, easy to get information and it also the place where educational opportunity, super markets, transportations, entertainments, sport clubs, cultural centres and social services are located, but it also a very difficult place to live for the poor such as they have to spend much money every day on clothing, food, water, electricity, and rent house.
The capital city is the place where everything is taken placed. It means that the city is not only the collection of people, but it also the place of works, or services such as factories, companies, industries, markets, enterprises, businesses, night clubs, hotels, restaurants, service stations and so on. For example, there are many garments factories in the city today and at least one factory has 200- 3000 workers working there. Some people work in companies, night clubs, restaurants, hotels, or in medium enterprises, and others work in petroleum stations or beauty salons. In addition, some people are working as construction workers and civil servants etc.

Pros: The quality of life in such big cities is better for young people: easy to run business/educational opportunities/ internet access

Meanwhile the city is also the place where many businesses are running.     The first point is comfort and convenience. Big cities provide good education system. In fact, most of the famous universities and excellent colleges and foreign language schools are located in the city. So when we live here, we have a lot of chances to study further with professional methods. We can also attend night classes in order to improve our knowledge and skills.
