The City of Torqres
Prologue
Two families, full of hate and different beliefs living in the same city of Torqres. Both used to care for one another, but the way both families thought the city should be ran was too different, and hatred built up. The hatred and disparity was too large to be broken causing both to split the city into two parts; Torq and Res.
Story
Young Mic and Pen were out fetching water for their poor and unhealthy family. They know if not enough water is brought back they would be starved, along with the rest of their family. The two boys are trained to think that when they are older, life will get better and the water they are fetching now is earning them money for the future. This lie is the only reason the two young boys can wake up in the morning, in fact it’s their only motivation.
As the two brothers walk home with water for their family, they see two brothers from the other side of the city, Res. The brothers wanted trouble with the boys bringing water home for their families. As they are walking past the boys all goes well; no eye contact is made, and no words are said. The two brothers are almost home and realize that they are being following by the other boys. The boys grew worried, and start to run but only to realize that they just ran into another boy from the opposing side of the city.
Mic and Pen were beaten severely, and died a painful death. Kyle and Riz; the brothers who had beaten Mic and Pen didn’t know the two boys have died from being beaten badly. Kyle and Riz had nothing to do at this part of the city and ran back home to their wealthy parents in Torq, only to be treated as kings.
A few hours later, Mic and Pen’s parents are worried that something might have happened to their precious children. They went out looking for Mic and Pen. Screaming “Mic and Pen”. As they heard no response, their mother Marry started to cry deep and dreadful tears. The two continue to look and see their children on top of each
