People grow up and before they know it they’ve lost all memories of when they were children. It’s not every day that a person has a memorable experience or event happening to them. I can admit I have memories of when I was young but there is only so many I can remember. I’ve dad many child hood experiences a few stick out more than others but one is one that I remember to this day. As a child everyone can remember their first steps or maybe their first word. I can still remember that day, it was my birthday. I was turning six at the time and you know every kid in those years wanted either a bike or rollerblades. I wanted a bike really bad and my parents promised to get me one. I had a birthday party it was fun but there was no bike. I was down at first because by the time night had come around I was but ready to call it a day just when my dad surprises me with a brand new bike. I was able to ride it for a bit before I went to sleep. The next day I was so excited and felt cocky so I rode my bike with no hands only to crash and go to the doctor. It may seem like a typical childhood experience but it change my life for the better. I felt it taught me a lesson in that you should be careful for as things you want or desire will not always benefit you in the end. To this day I still remember riding a bicycle for the first time when I was a kid.
