Child Behavior Better or Worse

When we read the paper, listen to the radio, watch television, all we get bombarded with is murder, assault, and youth people causing crimes. Is there a worrying pattern emerging with our next generation getting worse than the one that preceded it? There are many theories and stories about children becoming uncontrollable to the point of a crisis. Who is to blame for the crimes of the children? Many statisticians, scientists, and historians are all calculating formulae to try to get to the root of the problem, and lay blame at somebody's door! Let us take a look at the main players, who are potential candidates for taking the blame: Television/Media: Theorists are looking at the link between television and the trend of violence. With more violence being shown than ever before on our screens, it is suggested that children are seeing this sort of behavior as cool or the in thing. But what they don’t get is that the people on the television don't get really badly hurt; it's just for our entertainment. Console Games: The modern console or computer game looks geared towards murder and violence as a way of selling more of its product. The companies who produce the games have seen a huge market for children being able to live in virtual worlds, killing everything in their path. The games are gruesome and very lifelike. Are kids everywhere playing out their computer game fantasies in the real world? Whose fault is it that they were allowed to have those type of video games? Could it be the parents? The violent and realistic game are all 18 and above so how do we as children end up with them? By getting one of our legal guardians to go to the store and purses it.
