Charles Darwin and William Dembski
Western Philosophers Charles Darwin and William Dembski have two totally different views of religion and how humans and species appeared on this earth. Charles believes in evolution, while, William Dembski believes in intelligent design. Evolution is the process by which species of organisms arise from earlier life forms and undergo change overtime through natural selection and intelligent design is the theory that the universe and living things were designed and created by the purposeful action of an intelligent agent. William Dembski idea for intelligent design therefore directly challenges Darwin’s approach to the origin and evolution of life.
Charles Darwin did not believe humans were created by God nor had anything to do with intelligent design, but that humans evolved over time from apes as we adapted to the always changing environment. William Dembski, on the other hand, believed that the creation of humans and what he research pointed to intelligent design.
