English   Definition Essay   Character   In addition, a character can be a person in a novel, movie, TV show, or comic books. Society loves to have their favorite characters in their entertainment. A perfect example would be Superman. Superman is a well-respected hero who saves people from dangers. He uses his super strength powers distinguish him from the rest of the world. Being this type of character, people from all age groups and genders have their favorite person in what they find entertaining. Fans at times want to be their favorite character so they can have what they have in their fake worlds. A character may have the personalities that their fans adore and may get into the crazy antics that people wish they lived.   While describing someone's personality traits, they also describe their character. The character of a person describes them completely. The character of a person can tell you how they carry themselves day in and day out. At times, you can learn about the character of a person by the occupations they have. For example, a soldier is brave and fearless. This warrior fights for the freedom of Americans while protecting us from outside invaders. A Special Education teacher’s character is patient and caring. The teacher does what it takes to ensure that the student is understood.   In conclusion, the definition of the word character has a number of different meanings. Even though the word character has a number of different meanings, in the end it all comes down to the same word Character. Character is showing someone's personality through his or her actions. By making someone laugh, how they act in their show, book, or movie, and how they are in different situations, character still remains the same. [continues]
