6. Why do you believe that smoking causes cancer? (If you do not believe this, then why do you believe that smoking does not cause cancer?) What would be required to get you to adopt the opposing view?
I think smoking causes cancer because I feel like it damages the cells that line the throat with the dangerous chemicals and carcinogens that cigarettes contain. It also causes extreme changes in lung tissue. I do not believe anything could change my view unless they magically proved that smoking had absolutely zero adverse conditions to ones health.
