The quadruple-bar graph demonstrates the different internet browsing amount amongst four age groups, including Less than 15, 16-30 tears, 31 to 50 years, and 50 or more numbered in percentage. The data is taken from the year 1998, 1999 as well as 2000. From the graph, we can see that every category experienced a different trend over the three years. The percentage of people aged from 16 to 30 started at 53% in 1998. Then it dropped slightly every year and ended up at 44%. Age group of 31 to 50 remained stable at approximately 39% during the three consecutive years. The proportion of children who are less than 15 gradually rose and eventually reached its peak at 9%. The number of seniors share the same trend as the Less than 15 section, starting at 4% and end at 9%. Besides that, people from 16 to 30 years and less than 15 are considered as the largest and smallest part respectively. To sum up, this graph gives us a detailed illustration about the internet usage from various age groups. Generally, we can conclude that people who around their 20s spend more time on computers compared to others. And an increasing number of children and seniors begin to get involved in the internet too.
