September 5, 2012 Celebrities Can Inspire Too I have never spoken to her in person, nor met her in person. Even though this is true, I still have a connection with her, and ever since I have been introduced to her, she has inspired me to do something with my life and to not give up, and I can say that she has changed my life for the better. Furthermore, she is exceptionally famous throughout America and now even through out the world. The first song I heard by her was at my older brother’s party for New Year’s Eve. I never was a real fan of music until this. I liked this song; it was new, catchy and full of energy. Although I really liked this song, I did not think too much of it. Until I heard another song from her, everyone who I know seemed to like this new famous song called “Poker Face.” It was even more popular than the first hit and this is when I began to realize how much I connected with the music. Her name is Stefani Joanne Angelina Germanotta, but more popularly known as Lady Gaga. Stefani is more than a crazy celebrity, artist, singer, dancer, pianist, etc. Lady Gaga is an inspiration to several lives, and she has changed my life for the better. First, she is a great performer and artist. When I heard the second song, I wanted to hear more than just the two songs that I knew about but more of this artist. Additionally, I thought to myself, “If I like these two songs so much, I will most likely adore her others.” I was right. Beginning my senior year of high school, I began to listen to her other songs and later came to find out that she was going to be performing at the MTV Video Music Awards.
