The Catcher in the Rye
Throughout life there can be different endeavors, which can produce a satisfying conclusion as for a situation filled with anger and resentment. Some of these conclusions can be inevitable also, but in the end what really matters is how create a good resolution. For some this is easier said than done, but for others this can be a huge predicament. At times your life can even be enriched from a bad situation; you come to your senses and change your life completely from then on. Arguably finding your resolution to a problem isn’t always instantaneous, for some it comes gradually through different experiences. In the novel The Catcher in the Rye the protagonist of the story is a boy named Holden Caulfield, and he engages in adventure to find a sustaining motivator to succeed in the life of adulthood. Even though becoming an adult is an inevitable factor in life, Holden searches for unpractical alternatives. He does so, in many different instances of the novel from the beginning of the novel to the end. Though he does not find complete satisfaction in the end of his crazy journey, he endures many different endeavors that cause him to come to a realization of how life truly is. Nevertheless he faces many different influential problems in his journey, there are specific ones that create more of an impact than the others. For Holden venturing into the world of adulthood is equivalent to a death sentence but, incrementally Holden discovers that life has to be viewed from a different perspective and generates a way to create a stable lifestyle. Holden embarks into his journey to adulthood the moment he leaves from his school. Holden cannot stand the amount of phonies that live there and he has no purpose there if he is failing every class. The day after Holden decides to meet up with an old friend of his Sally Hayes. Sally is one of the biggest phonies Holden ever meets but, he endures her company to not feel so lonely.
