Course Descriptions: The course covers business process concepts of Supply Chain Management including its strategic importance in improving effectiveness of the organization in facing competitive global market. It will provide systematic guideline on supply chain structure and planning operations steps, inventory, flow of materials, and information in each step for improving business performance. Course objectives: Upon completion of the course the students will be able to : -Describe supply chain network, its components and functions -Demonstrate Supply Chain Management( SCM) requirements in today’s business -Decide on inventory flow management

-Develop demand management and customer service plan
-Demonstrate procurement and supply management planning capability -Describe and apply select warehousing approaches
-Demonstrate importance of flexibility criteria in supply chain planning -Describe importance of information flow management
