Synopsis
The “Project Report” gives an account of the original research work undertaken by the Management Trainee during the duration of Summer Training/ Internship. It illustrates in an organized and logical manner, the “Research Methodology adopted, research findings, inferences and recommendations”, as well as their meaningful associations, thus fitting in the various disjointed pieces of information, in the form of a big picture.
GUIDELINES FOR PREPARATION OF THE PROJECT REPORT
Project report SIZE
The project report should, at the max, be 60 pages long, taking into consideration the first page of Chapter 1 and the last page of typed material, as the limits.
project report layout and COMPOSITION
The project report matter should be arranged in the following sequence:
1. Title page / Cover page
2. Training Certificate issued by organization
3. Abstract
Around 500-600 words long narration highlighting the project /research methodology and providing insight into various components that build it up
4. Acknowledgement
At the max, 1 page long ; it is a note of thanks in recognition of the inputs, guidance or any other support extended by Organizational key people, guides or any other individual, who contributed towards the successful completion of project work by the trainee
5. Table of Contents
6. List of Tables
7. List of Figures/ Flow-charts
8. Chapters
The titles suggested here for “Chapters” and their sub-divisions are optional and may be adapted to meet the specifications of the project under-taken.
