A) There is no format or final form but the store manager’s job description should include:        Job identification Job summary Responsibilities and duties Authority of incumbent Standards of performance Working conditions Job specifications

 The store manager’s is responsible for maintaining the store In order to ensure residents and visitors have access to necessary supplies and accommodations.  Position should play an important role in organization.  The store manager is responsible for customer service.  The main reason of position is to achieve results.

2. Is it practical to specify standards and procedures in the body of job description, or should these be kept separate? A) It is practical to specify standards and procedures in the body of the job description because the job description should contain the standards of the company that they expect the employees to comply with and to perform their responsibilities and duties. Also include the procedures and standards that are important and relevant for the applicants to comply with like performance in the company. It depends on the type of job under discussion as to what the standards to include.   Store manager should maintain the store cleanly and attract the customers. They are many responsibilities and duties to the store manager are:     Effective control of labor Supply Customer relationship Bookkeeping and cash management

Cost control and productivity Machine maintenance Pest control Hazardous waste removal Damage control Accounts payable and receivable etc.
