Your starting salary would be twelve dollars per hour. There are some basic qualifications needed for this job. For your education you are required an associated degree in related field and 1 year related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience. They would prefer you to have a bachelor’s degree in natural resource field. Schools that offer Natural Resources, Conservation degree or program are, University of Phoenix, University of Maine, and University of New Hampshire. You will need an experience maintaining and populating databases and manual files. On a GIS stand point; you will need experience producing maps and or other graphic products and reports. They also ask for you to be familiar with Maine geography and available GIS datasets a plus. Lastly, you will need experience with Microsoft work, excel, access and using the Internet.
