My Career Path

Returning to school could be one of the most difficult decisions you can make. It comes in line with buying your first home or car. From knowing how much debt you will accumulate to having the time and patients after a long day of work. My reasons for returning to school are; after receiving two degrees I still can not find a job that has a good pay rate, I want to expand my career opportunities, and to provide a better life for my daughter. I know with getting this degree I can accomplish all of this and more. School for me is like a walk in the park. I have been going ever since I graduated from high school in 2005. I went to Moultrie Technical College for my CNA license because I always wanted to be a doctor. So I went for my license so I can see how it could be. This profession was not for me. Then I went to East Central Technical College for my Business Administration Diploma and also my Website Design diploma. I enjoyed both of these careers; in the area that I live there really is not a high demand for these jobs so I have a hard time finding a good paying job. This is why I have started on my bachelors, because eon all of the requirement for the jobs I apply for want you to have a bachelors or master degree if you don’t have any experience. I know that receiving my Bachelors in Business Management will expand my job market, and I can finally get a job that pays and has good benefits. Because having a degree in management shows that I am willing to start at the bottom but will work my hardest to get to the top without taking any short cuts. I want to open my own business and taking these classes along with the classes I have already taken will give me the information I need to be successful in the business world. I know that all this schooling will pay off at the end; I know that it will all be worth it.
