My results from the career interest profiler and career plan building activity contributed to my professional goal development because it encouraged me to plan out my goals and helped me to understand and determine which of my goals were essential to my career. It also helped me to clearly understand how with careful decision making I could advance in earning my degree.
2. Describe how you will balance academic expectations and your personal and professional responsibilities.
I will balance my academic expectations by managing my time effectively between my family responsibilities and my school time. For my personal and professional responsibilities I will turn off any distractions such as my phone and TV when studying for my classes. I will focus more on my school work when I have the extra time so that I can be successful in achieving my goals.
3. How can understanding the importance of SMART criteria and your career interests and competencies help you move toward your career and academic goals?
