Development Of A Training And Mentoring Program
The merger of InterClean and EnviroTech has been a process of understanding and continuous collaboration. We have gain focus and perspective on how we are to move forward with this organization. One of the most critical elements of getting the organization in upward mobility in this industry is training.   Our organizational mission with our sales force is to our employees through business development, networking opportunities, community service, and training programs. Some of their signature programs include:
  * Local and national business expos
  * Quarterly “Lunch and Learns”
  * Mentoring Program
  * Training Academy
Since we have developed a new sales force consisting of 6 representatives inclusive of the Vice President of Sales, Sales Manager and 4 Sales Representatives. These employees represent a variety of professions, industries, education levels, and socio-economic backgrounds. These factors alone depict the need for training and mentoring but coupled with the merger and the new industry venture shows a greater need for training and mentoring program to be established.
Objectives
The organization’s objective is to provide our sales force with opportunities for exposure, developmental courses and workshops, while enhancing the concept of service to the community. These objectives for both the mentoring and training program have been established in conjunction with the organizations strategic plan, which includes needs in recruiting, retention, and improvement of the existing environment to optimize performance. Along these same lines, there are specific object as followed:
  * Assist employees developing a strategy for career development to increase knowledge, skills, and competencies;
