Job Descriptions and Qualifications
As a mid-level manager for Gem City Mortgage Company, my upper manager, Robert J. Oglesby has informed me that my department will be restructured and that I am responsible for creating a team that consist of five diversified employees to work under my leadership. The qualified employees will have customer service experience with internal and external people with a professional attitude and appearance. In addition, be knowledgeable in the many programs that are used for the mortgage company to process and disburse funds to the mortgagors.
I believe that having diversity in a group can have a positive impact on how the team can come together to complete a project. Therefore, the five job descriptions that are needed for my department will be a Nita Noe, team leader; Pat Dellaposta, alternate team leader and backup processor; James McGuire; delinquent loan processor; Cuc Doan, current loan processor; Leigh Ann Abrams, bankruptcy and foreclosure loan processor.
Training Program
The training program that will be used was designed to help the new and existing employees to adapt to the concepts of posting payments for different types of loans. Since my team leaders have been with the company for several years, they will be in charge of training and mentoring the new hires on how to use the software programs to do his or her job. Since people learn using different delivery method, I decided to have available the necessary resources to accommodate the learning techniques like manuals, visuals, etc. for all the employees. In addition, ongoing training programs will be used to help employees enhance their skills and prepare them for promotions.
