This article gives information about electronic monitoring in Canada and it tells us the various ways electronic monitoring is carried out and how it has helped the offenders get over the urge to commit the crime.

The researchers studied various sex offenders and how electronic monitoring has had an impact on their lives. The conclusion states that electronic monitoring needs to be implemented in a certain way keeping in mind that not all offenders are the same. The article is relevant because it informs that electronic monitoring helps offenders feel a part of society but only to a certain extent.
