Camp Help Paper

There are so many things can’t wait for my Bat Mitzvah, confirmation, but mostly camp. I have heard so many good things about Camp Shalom. My older sister Rachel always would tell me about it when I asked. I would love to be able to go inside the cabin and I unpack because I want to go to camp. I can’t wait to meet new people. Because you never know who will be there. You could be in a cabin with someone you know or you could be in a cabin with people you don’t know. At camp I want to meet as many people as I can because you never know a best friend could be waiting for me. Although I will miss all of my friends at home it would be good to meet new people my best friend is not Jewish although she does come to temple a lot. With a Jewish summer camp I would be able to learn how other Jewish kids like me live.

Also going to summer camp also would be a great break from phones, video games, because I was told that only mp3 players were allowed at camp. This means that we can’t be walking around texting the whole time at camp. So I will have to leave the phone at home. So at camp I actually would have to write letters if I want to contact someone.

I have looked at the website and I love all the activities available swimming, sports, my favorite Part is the lake, I love the lake.It also would be a way for me to become more independent. No one can walk around and say make your bed, did you clean up? No one can do that. So I will be all on my own. I believe I am a strong and independent young lady; I also have good head on my shoulders. I will always be a leader not a follower.   I will always be unique wherever I go. I will always be a leader not a follower. I hope after some thinking you will agree that I deserve to go to Camp Shalom this summer.
