Reduce, Reuse, and Recycle, a simple slogan used to remind us to keep or planet clean. If we students kept our school trash free it would be a much better looking school. All we really have to do is recycle, one simple task that can keep our school clean, reduce pollution and possibly give us extra money for school funds.
With recycling we would have a much more appealing school. When we have visitors from colleges or other schools people will see how we like to put our school first. A cleaner school would also make us look more sophisticated. If we kept our school dirty people would think that we set low standards for ourselves. We wouldn’t want parents thinking our school is a bad influence for their children.
Another benefit with keeping our school clean is a better environment. We wouldn’t have to worry about a hazardous situation because we would be environmental friendly. No coughing or wheezing because of poor air or animals getting caught in soda rings. We would be making a difference in the world by just putting trash in trashcans and bottles in recycle bins rather than on the floor. Although some people feel that recycling won’t make any big difference, it’s still the thought that counts.
An important thing about recycling is that you get money from the cans, bottles and paper you turn in. We could use the recycle money to give us an extra boost in school funds. With sports we could potentially get better uniforms and efficient equipment. Along with sports come our school supplies, we could get better books instead of the torn down text books we have to use. We could even get ROP classes for the summer to help students with their future careers.
With one change we could make a big difference. No more straggly books or worn down uniforms. We would have the money we need to make our school bigger and better. Reduce, Reuse, and Recycle, one simple task that can keep our planet clean and keep our school... [continues]
