Pay :The Equality Act 2010 contains measures to protect women from being paid less than men for doing the same job
Pensions :The Government thinks that people aren't saving enough towards pension so from 2012 pensions will undergo substantial change.
Employment Rights: The Working Time Regulations entitle employees to a minimum of 5.6 weeks' paid leave (pro rata – depending on your hours worked) per year. Bank holidays can be included in or excluded from this amount.
3. Identify a range of places where a person can find information on employment rights and responsibilities. You should identify at least two internal and two external sources of information.
Information about employment rights and responsibilities are found in different places i.e.
External Source: ACAS, Citizen Advice Bureaux, Chamber of Commerce
Internal Source: Line Manager, Trade Union Representative, Personnel Specialist.
