Business2Business Letters
Organizations depend on their business relationships with other organizations in order to stay competitive in today’s business world. Organizations tend to spread their business related projects to outside businesses to lighten the load on projects and cost that are done internally. Organizations allow other businesses to handle projects involving marketing, product distribution, and others that can be externally without direct contribution from the primary organization. Business to Business(B2B) messages are the common form of communication that is used between businesses. B2B messages can be either traditional mail, e-mail, or fax and commonly are the basis of any starting business relationship. These forms of B2B messages are used to communicate information between different locations and departments within organizations. Formal letters are still the most traditional means of common communication between organizations that do not utilize technology like email or fax. An employee that would like to request a vacation day would use a B2B message by e-mail to communicate with the supervisor. The sender or employee would expect a response from the message. The response to the message would either grant or deny the request of the sender in the business relationship.
B2B message 1
The first message involves the relationship between a software company and a retail store that distributes the software. The software company would like to increase the quantity of software that is distributed by the retail store. The message was comprised of an e-mail and was delivered through the internet which would be the technology used. The purpose of the message was to ask the receiver or retail store, if they could handle more distribution from the sender or software store. The noise would be minimal since e-mail is used. The feedback from the e-mail would be a response from the retail store on it’s decision whether to accept or deny the additional distribution of the software

Although having unhealthy food is quite valuable for many students, we should propose something that would benefit the school and the students. I recommend we start replacing unhealthy food like chips and soda pop with more nourishing food like yogurt or fruit juice. This would not only help having healthier food but also persuade students to eat healthy. Another way we can start the process of healthy food is through using the power of posters in which we can advertise about all the advantages of keeping a healthy yet effective food diet. If us grade nine students start eating healthier this would make us great role models for the younger students who would also want to eat food high in nutrients. By applying these methods the grade nine students will still be able to attend there adventure camp in spring every year and also exercise the benefits of eating much healthier.…

It is done through many different ways where the sender will try to convey a message to the receiver to pass some sort of information along. Technology is a great tool to have to help send these messages especially in the business world, where some of these communications are done virtually through email. The communication process includes the environment where the message takes place, the sender, the message that is created, technology used to send the message, noise, the receiver of the message, and the feedback that is returned to the sender. These messages need to be clear and concise especially in the business environment because there are many things on the line that include money, potential sales, and business proposals. Business to business communication process includes the communication between two business entities, in which the one business entity perform the role of a sender and other one perform the role of a receiver. In other words, business to business communication describes the communication between businesses such as between a manufacturer and a whole seller or between a whole seller and a retailer. Several methods of communication exist to efficiently communicate within any organization. In my organization, emails messages are largely used to communication inside and outside of the organization. Although, email is somewhat informal, it is the quickest and most effective method of sending and receiving messages and they can also be considered a formal method of communication, depending on the contents and whether or not there is any formal correspondence attached. Email can involve one-to-one communication, but it also supports one-to-many transmissions in which the same message can be sent to lists of people (Reddick and King, 2001:24). Scheduling conferences and meetings, changing policies and procedures, keeping employees and staff apprised of any changes, and sending and receiving formal documents are just a few of the things email is used for in my organization. Email also works tremendously well when collaborating on a project. However, emails should only be used for quick messages or communication among staff members.…

As noted in Appendix A-A basic communication model, “the basic communications model is the starting point for analyzing the communications process in terms of the intent of the sender, the needs of the receiver, and the elements of the communications environment” (University of Phoenix, 2009, para. 1). In today’s business one of the most common and widely used forms of communication is e-mail. E-mail sent in a business environment requires a professional vocabulary and tone that is not normally used in personal e-mails yet it still needs to be conversational. According to Nancy Flynn, director of the ePolicy Institute and author of Writing Effective E-mail and E-mail Rules, “the average office worker spends 49 minutes managing e-mail daily, while upper level managers spend up to four hours a day on email” (Mardesich, 2010, guides, para. 3). With so much time spent managing the receipt and sending of e-mails in business it is important that employees understand the basic communication model. Understanding this process when sending e-mails allows employees to communicate more effectively as well as know when to use e-mail, and when another form of communication would be more effective. Any form of communication follows the same basic communication model. E-mail is just a faster and more efficient form of communication. Following is an analysis of three business e-mails using the components of the basic communication process.…

Capital income is the money invested by owners or investors that fund the setting up of a business. The source of capital income is influenced by the type of business. Sole trader is a business which is owned individually, meaning their capital income comes from their own money (savings) or personal loans. Partnership is when between two and twenty people join to form a business as partners. Each partner should be the source of capital income. Partners of the business share the profit and decisions that need to be made regarding the business. Limited companies get capital income depending on whether they are public or private limited companies. Public limited companies sell their shares on the stock exchange meaning they receive money quickly to get the business running. Private limited companies are businesses which owners are usually family or friend based and their shares cannot be sold on the stock exchange. The money for capital income is invested by the shareholders. Money for capital income can come from external sources instead of a shareholder investing money. Mortgage is an external source of finance. Mortgage is a long term lending of a high amount of money. A mortgage is usually used to help buy a property which is then paid back over a long period of time, 20 plus years. The advantages of a business using a mortgage are that they can receive huge amounts of money which aren’t entirely paid back for a long time. The disadvantages of a business taking a mortgage out are that if repayments aren’t made then the lender takes ownership on the property, land or whatever the mortgage was used to buy. Another disadvantage of mortgages is that the interest rates are very high compared to loans. The interest rates are dependent on how much borrowed, how much deposited, period of time paid back across and what type of buyer the business is. Loan is another…

Communication is an aspect of everything that humans do, and how well we communicate often majorly impacts how successful we are in life. According to Baack (2012) “Communication may be defined as transmitting, receiving, and processing information”. The information we process may be in words, symbols, and numbers or non-verbally with our hands or facial gestures. In business or in organizations there are four levels of communication most often discussed, for the purpose of this paper only the first three are explained. First there is individual or interpersonal communication which typically takes place between individuals. Second, communication within organizations involving the use of communication systems such as technology or other methods used to transmit information internally. This type of communication can be between teams or groups, between multiple groups in meetings, through formal management channels such as company meetings and informal channels which may include rumors or office gossip. Next is communication across organizations externally. This would be communications to suppliers, customers or developers. Overall the format of the communication can be in e-mail, meetings, letters, and reports, press releases, marketing messaging, and customer or industry events.…
