      {text:list-item}     The Smart Body Art is the idea of Ivan Patrick Pospos, the owner of the company. Ivan Patrick Pospos is one of the most popular and versatile tattoo artists in the Philippines. He started tattooing when he was only 21 years old. He started by only using improvised machines and sign pen inks. His first customers were local gangsters. From there he begins to absorb the influence of some world known artists like Paul Booth, Aaron Cain and Ron Ackers to name a few. He started his shop in 1990 in Cartimar Arcade in Pasay City. Then some tattoo enthusiasts started to visit him and some satisfied customers spread the word about Ivan’s works, in the same year he was already a member of PhilTAG (Philippine Tattoo Artists Guild). In the midst of 1995, he tattooed Ron Ackers with a Jesus Christ portrait which gave him first international award from England for Best Individual. From then on his picture, models and artworks landed in different publications spreading his fame across the metro. In time, popular bands as well as celebrities started flocking in his studio.
