Abstract

As we know, as a support organization and operation of two basic elements---- organizational structure and organizational culture for the organization’s survival and development play an important role. For the new dairy company which main product milk, I think the most important thing which the company need do is nature for high quality. In order to improve the competitiveness, the company should establish a set of new different company’s culture and purpose. In my business plan, I have a good idea about the name of the company is HOPE. This ‘HOPE’ not only means the parents’ expectation for the health of their child but the customers’ hope for Chinese milk market as well. And I also create the unusual company’s culture and structure for HOPE.

1) The organizational culture of HOPE:
Culture in an organization is the sum total of the beliefs, knowledge, attitude of mind and customs to which people are exposed.① Therefore, according to the environment and probably future of Chinese milk market, I think HOPE’s culture should belong to Zeus combine with Dionysus. As a new company, there need a people or group who can control the company and ensure the employees can finish the job. At the same time, company should depends on the talent of the individuals and establish a good relationship with these talents. In addition, for external, HOPE should makes the customers know: the first is healthy; the best is quality.

2) The organizational structure of HOPE:
Clearly defined and agreed aims and objectives are the first stage in the design of organization structure and they help facilitate systems of communication between different parts of the organization.② The details of one company’s structure depend on the internal and external impact. So, it should comes from the company’s culture, mission, size, environmental and strength. And according to my analysis of there part I finished a structure chart of HOPE. [pic]

This organizational structure is characterized by: a straight line basis, at all levels of administrative functions under the appropriate set (such as planning, sales, supply, finance and other departments) are engaged in professional management, as the administrative level of the staff, the implementation of charge of the unified command and staff functions - combined with guidance. In the linear functional structure, the lower body is well received by the higher authorities of the management, but also by the same level functional management of operational guidance and supervision. Progressively responsible administrative leaders at all levels highly centralized. Particular, we set up quality control department and union in order to ensure the quality and mutual supervision.

First of all, we should find the suitable supplier and communicate with production department in order to create products which adapt to market. At the same time, marketing and market development department need find the right market and promote products. In the process of production, quality control department need to supervision to ensure the safety of food. Technology resource department should to develop the most advanced technology to save raw materials and resources.

Mission: ‘provide safety, high quality and healthy dairy products for customers’. Goal: ‘do the best quality, most professional, most dedicated dairy products’. Objectives: ‘become China's top 5 of dairy market within 5 years’.
