Task 1: Personal Communication Development Plan.
You are going to apply for a job. Keeping in mind the job requirements: 1.1. Analyse your communication skills and find out strengths and weaknesses in all aspects. Make recommendations for improvement using alternative approaches to produce and implement a communications development plan. Show the use of SWOT analysis and SMART objectives accordingly. (LO. 3.4)

Task 2: Communication Process in an organisation.
2.1. Study existing communication processes in an organisation of your choice. (LO. 3.1) 2.2. On the basis of your study in 2.1, discuss flaws and suggest improvements in both internal and external processes of communication. (LO. 3.2) 2.3. Discuss efficient ways to implement the suggested improvements in 2.2 and the problems you may face during the implementation process. (LO. 3.3)

Task 3 : Decision Making
Your business development firm has assigned you the task of working on a struggling business. Your job is to analyse the operations of this business as it is facing difficulties due to the current economic conditions, and help them finding an effective way to counter this situation. To finish this task you will: 3.1 Discuss various decisions that may be helpful to ensure a quick recovery. (LO. 1.1) 3.2. Enlighten the importance of effective decision making and what kind of information and knowledge you should look for to successfully run this business? (LO. 1.2) 3.3. Look for the sources (internal and external) that can provide you with the information and knowledge you would require in making effective decisions as discussed in 3.2. (LO. 1.3) 3.4.
