Ethics is a set of rules a person study to learn what is right/wrong, morally
accepted in the society. Ethics doesn’t have to be written rules; they can be guidelines
that teach what correct conduct is. Ethical issues can be found in all types of cultures,
and the issues that arise differ from culture to culture. There can be many issues
concerning politics, environmental, business, etc. All these different type of topics can
go hand in hand with each other. Especially in business, ethical issues surface all the
time concerning the environment, politics, the work place, operation practices, etc. There
will be three main parts within this paper; ethical issue concerns within the company and
the environment, a work-related ethics survey that usually doesn’t show what really
influences ethical judgments in business, and the term “bluffing” in the business world.
All these show how business ethics is far more complicated than what everyone thinks.
Practicing good business ethics is important to succeed, but in order to be on top you

There is a great example of how a company violating consumers rights. Ford, a
for-profit organization, where shareholders are the people that make it possible to invest
and make this corporation possible, violated the consumers right to life when they
released the Ford Pinto with defects. The case stated that Ford calculated the loss of life
to be less expensive than a recall. This was clearly a case in which managers crossed the
line in upholding their duties to shareholders and would not be condoned within the
corporation. How can a company find this practice ethical, stating that their piece of
machinery has more value than a human life? Fortunately, the court was able to see the
unethical practices Ford was doing and took steps to condone it, and this example clearly
