Overview
Canada is the second largest country in the world and is characterized by an extraordinary variety of topography, climates and time zones that is a North American country consisting of ten provinces like British Columbia, Quebec, Ontario etc. and three territories that Yukon, Northwest Territories and Nunavut. Canada is a federal state governed as a parliamentary democracy and a constitutional monarchy, with Queen Elizabeth II as its head of state. Canadian culture is a diverse fusion of indigenous, French and British traditions that have been significantly broadened by a wave of immigration from Europe and Asia in the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries. The country is officially bilingual and multicultural at the federal level, with a population of approximately 35 million as of 2013.  In Canada, most important key concepts are individualism, regional differences and power distance. First of all, whole Canadians are very individually oriented and ties with others are relatively loose. As a result, personal privacy is highly valued in Canadian culture and there is a clear distinction between public and private life. In a business context, Canadians will generally be more open to discussion. Secondly, Canada includes many Asian, Chinese, Italian, Ukrainian and indigenous communities spread throughout the country.
