Intelligent Imaging Solutions (IIS) is a public corporation that is headquartered in Dallas, TX, that competes in the global market for consumer navigation systems (GPS) and in the military defense industry. Their organization consists of two divisions. The first division produces products for consumers and the second division produces products for the military. For consumer products Intelligent Imaging Solutions (IIS) has a main new prototype developing facility in Shanghai and one small prototype developing facility in Dallas. IIS currently has 2334 full-time employees worldwide. The Dallas office currently holds 1103 employees which consists of three separate office buildings in the United States that employs 785 people, a warehouse and prototype manufacturing facility that employs 285 people, and multiple at home sales offices which employee approximately 33 individuals. In addition to this there are three other locations that employ IIS employees. These locations are: Fairfax, VA which employs 225 people. Foreign Locations consist of Shanghai, China which employs 846 total people and London, UK which employs 160 people. The remote facilities will remain in operation but will require an upgrade. Currently, a mix of communications is used between each remote location: Branch offices are currently connected some using fractional-T1 Frame Relay connections, some using leased T1’s, and some DSL/cable connections. In addition, a mix of windows desktops and laptops are currently being used, and email communication is a mix...
