Bundling
1. Evaluate the consequences of offering a single ticket for the concert series either in addition to, or in place of, offering the tickets for each concert separately.

The primary aim here should be to maximize profit.
Below table gives the Willingness –to-pay of Concert Patrons:

Case 1: Only Bundling
Bundle at $50- This is the maximum that the last two categories of patrons are ready to pay. Hence, the revenue we get is $200.
Bundle at $60- Only the top two categories of patrons are ready to pay this amount for both the concerts together. The revenue we get is $120.
So by bundling, the maximum we can get is $200.

Case 2: Not bundling
Both concert tickets individually $20 – In this case we are not capturing Tchaikovsky lover patron for the Bartok/Stravinsky concert and the Sophisticate patron for the Berlioz/Tchaikovsky concert. The maximum revenue we get by doing so is $120.
Both concert tickets individually $40 – In this case we are not capturing Romantic & Tchaikovsky lover patron for the Bartok/Stravinsky concert and the Sophisticate & Neo-Classical patron for the Berlioz/Tchaikovsky concert. The maximum revenue we get by doing so is $160.
So the maximum we can gain by NOT BUNDLING AT ALL is $160.

Case 3: Mix of Bundle and Individual
Bundle at $60 and sell Individual tickets at $45 – The Romantic & Neo-Classical Patrons for both the concerts shall pick the bundle at $60. The Tchaikovsky lover and Sophisticate patrons shall pick the individual tickets for Berlioz/Tchaikovsky and the Bartok/Stravinsky concerts respectively at $45. But we are unable to capture Sophisticate patron for the Berlioz/Tchaikovsky concert and Tchaikovsky lover patron for the Bartok/Stravinsky concert. The revenue we get by doing this $210.
So the maximum we get by keeping a mix of both bundling and individual tickets is $210.

From the above analysis, we can easily conclude that keeping a mix of bundling (at $60) and individual tickets (at $45) is the

    1) The competitive strategy of the ALLTEL Pavilion is largely focused on differentiation. With no substantial competitors in the geographic region, they are looking to create an “experience” for the audience and thus maintain the sustainability of the venue. They do this primarily through solid Marketing efforts. They are focused on the making the venue and each event as profitable as possible, by making it as highly visible as possible. Working within an established marketing budget of $20,000 per event, the team analyzes demographics, options, and potential ROI in order to make decisions about how to spend this money. Looking beyond each individual event, they are also looking to build visibility for the venue.…

The most advisable recommendation would be to sell the Atlantic Bundle at the cost-plus pricing approach of $4491.04. This is advisable for several reasons. The first being that although the revenues are the highest from value-in-use pricing approach, this pricing is significantly above what customers are currently paying. Since customers are paying $6800 for the competitors servers a payment of $12800 for our servers would be too steep of an increase. In addition, since we are marking up our products at 30%, we will guarantee a profit of at least 30%. Lastly, pricing our…

The survey will be rather vain in defining a campaign or program to help out the rest of the year. We are dealing with two very diverse problems, one being the rescue of the rest of the year, and two, increasing the existing period’s ticket holders. As far as the rest of the season goes, there needs to be some offer that will thank existing season ticket holders for signing up for the next period. This can be accomplished in one of two ways; one can be a sizeable reduction for pre-ordering next terms tickets at this time. This way a base can be proven for the next season. When it comes to this season, a small group of concerts can be thrown together as a package and offered at a discount to those who participated in the survey. The same offer can also be promoted to the general public as well to help bolster the remaining year’s performances.…

Facts: The New York Highlanders are building a new stadium, offered a first come first serve season ticket special. In order to be eligible, buyers would have to pay a $10,000 licensing fee which would guarantee a specific seat as identified in a stadium seating diagram. About 10,000 fans signed up and sent in their seating choices at the 50 yard line (the most desired seats) and received confirmation from the Highlanders that their seats were reserved. Unfortunately, after the licenses were sold to the 10,000 fans, the stadiums dimensions were reduced and only had 5,000 available seats on the 50 yard line. The Highlanders announced that 5,000 of the 10,000 would get the preferred seating based on a lottery, and the remaining 5,000 would be given other seats.…
