Christianity diffused with help of priest and missionaries. They moved ond forcefully converted the navtives of the new place to the religion. This mainly occurred when the new world was founded and the colonies were made. It was easier for them to convert people because Christianity is spread all across the world.
Siddhartha founded buddhism. He was the son of the lord and lived a decent life, but he wanted to find more. He left his home, and formed a new lifestyle for six years. He experimented with meditation, then became the Buddha. He preached across India for forty-five years. It came to be at China because of the merchants along the trading routes.
It's said that Buddhism spread due to the contagious diffusion. It was passed on to the people because of their proximity to other practitioners. In recently traveled across the world due to emigration in the 1950's. The asian people brought their teachings with them, and they remained mainly in the west of the United States.
The whereabouts of theses two religions has to do with many factors in history. Some were done accidently and some were done purposely. These past actions lead to the amount of followers they have today and were they are located now. [continues]
