Btsisi’s Kinship

      The kinship system for Btsisi has been displayed by many anthropological studies, but the Btsisi woman that lineally, married aboriginak connection to legitimize their rights to the land over the later immigrants.   And many relationships have established through a marriage or a descendent group that has been made proven in some societies has lead to social integrating with other individuals in the different societies in the past and future.
      And the kinship keeps thing in balance.   And there is much need for balance in life as well as haven ethics about you.   Like for example they use the reciprocity is balance to direct the exchange with the promise of the return of an item of equivalent valve to the giver within an agreed- upon period of time.     “(Some Btsisi' have many children—up to 10 or more. One couple I (Barbara Nowak) spoke with had 13 children between them—his, hers, and theirs. The couple was expecting their 14th child when I asked why they wanted another child. The man said to me.
      When I am old and sick and unable to take care of myself, to go fishing and find my own food, my children will help take care of me. But if I have only a few children the burden will be great. With many children I can move from child to child, so that when one doesn't have then others will. This way I spread the burden of caring for me around to many and hence it is not so great (Nowak, 1981).”
    The Btsisi culture grows several varieties of dry rice, as well as tapioca, bananas, and other fruit.
