E x e c u t i v e S u m m a r y We made our marketing plan for BRAC SOLAR PANEL which is a sister concern of BRAC. BRAC SOLAR PANEL is being launched by BRAC, and is promoted through this two month long campaign, starting from May 1, 2012 BSP is solar housing system which can be used for running most of the daily electronics equipment. BSP is totally different from other solar housing system because this solar housing system is specially made for urban areas. Our product has different features; people chose the better package in terms of their income. The people those who are going to build a new home or buy a new home or apartment are the actual customer for our product. The primary target market for BSP is urban family from middle income class and higher income class. Secondary target market for BSP is sub urban people. The promotional campaign will begin by providing our advertisement on television and newspaper at the beginning of May. For first 15 days advertisement frequency will be higher for television and for the first week we will show our advertisement with big spaces in newspaper, by the time advertisement frequency will be lower on television and newspaper. Some billboard will be used in all over the country for upcoming two months.

What is BRAC?

Over 98% of our membership is female; and more than 95% of our volunteer cadre - health volunteers, paralegal trainers, agriculture, livestock and poultry extension workers & school teachers and Community Organizers; and 30% of our Popular Theatre artists - are women.
* Organizing the Poor - Organizing the poor is at the heart of our work. Our Village Organizations (VOs) each with 30-40 women and Polli Shomaj each with 60-65 members act as platforms for poor women to come together, access services such as microfinance, exchange information and raise awareness on social, legal and other issues concerning their daily lives. As a group, these women who as individuals have little or no voice in decision-making within their homes or their communities are able to speak out and influence change.
* Unleashing Human Potential - We believe in unleashing human potential. BRAC acts as a catalyst presenting a multitude of opportunities - both economic and social - that allows poor families to transform their own lives and futures.
