Bea: Eunice thanks for calling on me and studying bible with me, but i want to do more than that, i really want to draw close to God, and because there is so much religion now, how can i know the right one?
Eunice: Bea I must commend you for your decision to draw close to Jehovah, and about knowing the right religion, there a couples of viewpoints to look for in a religion before we can conclude its the right one. One viewpoint is there teaching has to based on the bible which is God not manmade teaching. Can you remember from my previous visit what some manmade teaching are?
Bea: Yeah, like in my church we were taught trinity, which i already knew now from the bible that trinity is not bible base.
Eunice: Yes you are right Bea, just like it was happening today so was it then Jesus time, he has to expose the religious leader, lets see how he did that turn with me to Mark 7v7 can you read? After reading what were those religious leader doing?
Bea: The bible says they were teaching doctrine command of men, oh yes that was why there worship was not accepted.
Eunice: yes you are right notice what the bible say we should teach in 2Tim3;16 after reading, what should our teaching be base on?
Bea: Yes that scriptures say our bible is beneficial for teaching
Eunice: The second viewpoint is that the right religion should make know Jehovah name , his purpose, his activities and his qualities, Do all religion today even use God name?
Bea: Eunice my Pastor was amaze when i show him from the bible that God name is Jehovah.
Eunice: There is more than knowing the name, when we get to know his purposes and the do and don’t so that you can feel confident draw closer to him, just like Jesus did when he confidently said in his prayer to Jehovah in words found in John 17;6 i will read, after reading, did you notice there Jesus words?
Bea: Yeah he said he made manifest Jehovah’s name
Eunice: That is right Bea,

My spirit began to search for more of God . It is apparent that I must fast, pray and read my bible on a daily basis so that I can focus on God and build a closer relationship with him. This book is an excellent resource for counseling for those who need guidance in incorporating spiritual disciplines in a secularly dominated society. The only way this will be instrumental in counseling is to refer to its teaching and allow the Holy Spirit to make it conducive and acceptable in the counseling session. Many Christian counselors can use this resource to reach a level of maturity that will translate into true healing and…

    3. The Question of Meaning/Purpose – For Naturalists and Panthesists, notice there is not an exact explanation as to why humans were created, why they exist and the real purpose of having a relationship with God. Christianity isn’t just a set of rules you simply follow, it’s about creating a deep and intimate relationship with the Lord himself because He created you for a purpose which Judaism and Islam fail in their attempts to interpret correctly. John 17:3 has it down to a T about knowing the actual God you’re serving and what Christ did for all His children.…

Hatch was born & raised on W. Garfield St., a poor neighborhood in South Side Baton Rouge (SSB). It was notorious for drugs and violence, a place feared by the general population. Boosie grew up with his mom and dad who nicknamed him after the '70s funk legend, Bootsy Collins. Although being raised by both of his parents was a rarity in his neighborhood, Boosie still struggled with dysfunction inside and outside of his home. Around the time he was starting high school, Boosie decided to come clean on wax about some of the trouble he was getting into, "I started rapping on tracks when I was like 14 or 15, I was rapping before that but I just didn 't let anybody know 'cause I thought I wasn 't good enough." At fourteen years old, Boosie moved in to live with his grandmother after his father was murdered in drug-related activity. [2] Boosie became very involved in basketball to stay off the streets while attending high school and was actually expected to move on to college level basketball, but his involvement with drugs got him expelled from school. After being expelled from school, Boosie became serious about his music. Consequently, Boosie 's residency in Baton Rouge, which lacked a music scene, disadvantaged him from creating a diverse set of contacts and subsequently a lack of exposure. A mutual friend of Boosie and local rapper, C-Loc, introduced the two and before Boosie knew it, he was recording his homemade raps in a professional studio.…

My family and friends I associated with throughout childhood all shared the same faith and through my own study I decided to become an official member at the age of nine. Being a Witness is not necessarily respected by people. False accusations by other religions, government officials, or the general public produce prejudices and the perceptions that we are a “weird”, “uptight”, “extremist” “cult”. Often, because of our politically neutral stance, Russia, China, Bulgaria, Canada, France, Germany, India, Malawi and many other countries our activities have been, or is currently, banned and members persecuted. Knowing this is just one aspect that gave me literacy. At the age of five, I was aware of these international and cultural disputes. I understood that the world was not restricted to the boundaries I formulated and that things were happening even if they didn’t directly affect me. So therefore at a young age, I was experienced in being conscious of the world around me. This literacy did not dwindle as I aged, instead intensified. I now strive to be aware of the laws, cultures, and histories that molds the society that we live in. Also, being cognizant forced me to evaluate the reason for my faith. No one is “born” a Jehovah’s Witness but must choose to be baptized when they acquire the knowledge and are ready to live accordingly to it. Growing older and realizing that a vast amount of people are being persecuted for their beliefs made me consider the reason for mine. From then on, through the help of bible study programs provided to us, I research and build a faith that makes sense to me so that “[I] should no longer be [as] children, tossed about as by waves and carried here and there by every wind of teaching by means of the trickery of…

JW Apps claim of “A belief is what we accept as truth” can be interpreted differently through many people. Before we can start to defend or disagree with this claim, we must first understand the meaning of truth and belief. A truth is something that is known for certain, has been proven and is a certain fact. While as a belief may not necessary have to be true, it is more about what people accept and think that could be real. From this, we can say that it is possible to defend JW Apps claim as a belief is personal and has been accepted as truth from ‘we’ as it’s believer. However, in order to defend this effectively we have to first know and define exactly who ‘we’ is.…

Arriving at the Jehovah’s Witness meeting I was very nervous about what was to come. I knew that nothing radical was going to happen, there was going to be now speaking in tongues, or dramatic rituals, but because I knew I was entering into a different belief something just did not feel right. Although the feeling of the meeting was not exactly comfortable, I learned a lot from my observations. On Thursday March 21, 2013 I attended a Bible study and theocratic ministry session at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witness in Marion.…

On the other hand, a theological confessional approach is based on what one believes to be true. By taking this approach one is more concerned about their actions, the ultimate meaning of life, who God really is, and so forth. This approach to the New Testament results in controversial issues, biased opinions, and many different groups of believers with their own beliefs as seen from the ancient world up to the present modern day. We read about this very diversity in chapter one, for example the Jewish-Christian Adoptionists, Marcionite Christians, Gnostic Christians, and the Proto-Orthodox Christians.…

In conclusion, Elmer Towns states the Bible is an awesome comforter and provider. “ Perhaps the greatest influence of the Bible is its convicting, convincing, converting power to all who honestly accept its message and believe in Jesus Christ” (Towns, 2007 p. 24). The Word provides the reading audience a powerful belief of God being the real and a big deal. He is not the Author of confusion. (1 Corinthians 14: 33) For God is not the author of confusion, but of peace, as in all churches of the saints (KJV). We must be aware that God comes to make peace with us. Once one has agreed to accept a spiritual relationship with God, you adopt off the former and bring on a new. Why not test Him and partake of the promise He has put aside for you to experience eternal life by keeping His commandments.…

Did you notice that Jehovah is described as 'the most high'? 5o times, the Bible describes Jehovah as the most high. Jehovah is so fittingly described because no one else can compare to him. At Revelation 10:6, the apostle John further alluded to the highness of Jehovah when he identified Jehovah as the one who lives forever and ever, who created the heaven and the things in it and the earth and the things in it. Jehovah is the great first cause, he alone is uncreated. He alone is without beginning.…

We are ministering and talking to people all the time. We are meeting people everywhere and anywhere. We talk about fellowship, it is people; we talk about church, it is people. When we talk about business, we are meeting with people. When we go shopping we are meeting people too. So, all the time we are in contact with people. That is why we need to know how to discern. If we don’t discern we touch the live wire. When we touch the live wire we can be destroyed. We can be cheated and lied to. And if we know how to discern good people then we can make the right connections. Because we don’t know who is good or bad we get hurt. We are gracious and everybody is innocent until proven guilty. But you must know how to feel in the Spirit because the Spirit is your best guide. Even though in the external they look good but within you may not feel good. Do not just look at opportunity and think that it is good but you just got to know. If you do not feel right then do not do it. Sometimes when you go to the doctor and when you do not know what the Spirit is saying and he is saying something else, you are finished. So, how do we discern and identify a person? If you meet the right people and make the right connections than there will be right results.…
